A life in
resonance.
Vahur Luhtsalu is an Estonian-Indonesian cellist, artistic director, conductor, and educator whose work moves freely between classical and popular music. A graduate of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, he brings a rich European musical tradition into conversation with stages and musicians around the world.
From principal cello chairs to ensemble direction, solo performance, and teaching, his practice is rooted in collaboration: listening closely, shaping sound together, and making space for a story to unfold.
